FIRST BENUE, NASARAWA YOUTH CARNIVAL is a lot more than brightly-costumed people dancing on the streets. In essence, the carnival is going to be drama in motion, with dance being one of the many ways of interpreting and expressing the particular theme for each region.
The biggest street party in Benue and Nasarawa state, BENNAS, by individuals with like minds in both state, according to one of the coordinator Godwin Ochola, who says the carnival will upscale innovations and rebirth of their tourism commitment in both state.
“The carnival will be a parade of colours, costumes, creativity and innovation with variety of festive events ranging from cultural, musical, sports to fashion and beauty pageant of all of sorts, BENNAS which will be generally regarded as the apogee of a festival will attract huge and awesome participation of the people, hence, it is regarded as ‘the biggest street party in Benue and Nasarawa State.
Ochola reassured the people of the state that the organizers is practically committed at using tourism products in the state to empower the people and grow the economy and will help us to re-strategies and build different brand products to run all year through.”

“Now that we do not have oil, the rich tourism deposit in the state, which is our strength, would be explored to our advantage.
