Ogbadibo Carnival
Anticipate Ogbadibo Carnival
The best days of Idoma nation is here, yes together we can move mountains.
APC HAS FAILED, PDP SHOULD TAKE BACK POWER IN BENUE- Young Alhaji.
APC HAS FAILED, PDP SHOULD TAKE BACK
POWER IN BENUE- Young Alhaji. Political gladiator and pillar of the
opposition in Benue State, Alh. Usman
Abubakar Maishanu, aka Young Alhaji, has
expressed a strong desire to see the
People's Democratic Party (PDP) take back
power in the state at all subsequent
elections.
Young Alhaji made those remarks when he
received members of the PDP State Working
Committee led by State Chairman, John
Ngbede, at his Otukpo residence this
morning.
The Accord Party leader in the state carpeted
the All Progressives Congress (APC)- led
government in the state of having failed
woefully, describing the state governor,
Samuel Ortom as the most incompetent ever
in the history of the state.
He pointed to the government's inability to
pay salaries, administer the N28.5 billion
bailout, as well as inability to execute any
meaningful project in the state despite
collecting close to N60 billion in loans and
over N100 billion in federal allocations and
internally generated revenues.
The former senatorial contender in the
Benue-South Senatorial District particularly
expressed satisfaction in what he described
as the new found momentum and
organisational efficiency of the PDP under
the leadership of John Ngbede, expressing
optimism that the opposition party will floor
the ruling APC at any electoral contest.
In his remarks earlier, State Chairman of the
PDP, John Ngbede, commended Young Alhaji
for having remained consistent in his
political philosophy and having upheld the
highest ideals in defence of the interests of
the ordinary people and the common good
of society.
Young Alhaji who led an efficient and effective
alliance of opposition parties to successfully
deliver victory for former Senate President,
David Mark, of the PDP in the February 20th
Senatorial re-run election this year in Benue-
South Senatorial District, said he is open to
more alliances with the main opposition
party in the interest of Benue people.
What a Change.
The Newly constructed Congress Hall (Secretariat) of the Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), awaiting commissioning tomorrow, Tuesday 16th August, 2016!!
PDP in bad shape.
LAWANI GIVE PDP BENUE STATE ULTIMATUM TO VACATE HIS PREMISES!!
The former Deputy Governor of Benue State Chief Stephen Lawani who out of his fatherly love gave the party his buliding to be used when he was sworn in as the Deputy Governor as the party secretariat has given PDP Benue State the grace of few months to vacate his premises!!
Despite the fact that Chief Lawani decamped to the ruliing Party about five months ago, he still allowed them to be using it but as it is now he has no option than to let them go!!
It is so unfortunate and highly regretable that after 16yrs in power, the PDP in Benue State have no single structure to call its party Secretariat, but they were busy building companies, hotels, filling stations to mention but a few within the state, outside the state and even in abroad without even a thatch house to call its own, even when they were opportuned, little part of the stolen Benue #107B would have even given them a better structure!!
Instead of thinking on how to put the house they scattered in order, they were busy chanting "Change The Change" as their new slogan and I asked what happened to "The Power To The People"?.
Have they also forgotten that power was not forcefully taken from them but through a free and fair election??
No structure, No Slogan, No State Chairman, No National Chairman!!
